The Best Cuban Travel Guidebook

We have received dozens of photos and testimonials from people who have used their Towelinis all around the world. One of the most common places for people to bring a Towelini is when they go to the beach, especially in Cuba.

For all those Towelini loving Cuba vacationers, we just wanted to alert you to a fantastic new guidebook created for helping you get the most out of your vacation to Cuba. The guidebook covers hundreds of popular destinations in Havana and really shows you how to explore the city of Havana on your own. Unlike most guidebooks, the Real Havana: Explore Cuba Like a Local and Save Money book does not simply list hundreds of “tourist” friendly places and attractions. Rather, the guidebook goes into detail about describing Cuban culture and the way of life in Havana so that you, the vacationer, can then go to Havana and explore the city as if you were a local. With the knowledge in the guide, you get to live out all your dreams in the wonderful city of Havana and also you save lots of money too.

Some tourists got yo Havana and spend tons of money. It is easy to get scammed and end up paying $20 or $30 for a meal. But in a country (Cuba) where the average monthly wage is less than $30, this is a lot of money to spend on just one meal. With the info in the guide, you will learn how to eat a traditional Cuban meal, and have drinks and dessert, for less than $5.

Also, the guide lists lots of apartment rentals (casas particulares) which you can stay at. Most of the places are modern and fully equipped, and the prices are very low. If you are interested in testing out your new Towelini in Cuba and want to learn all about exploring Havana, we encourage you to check out the Real Havana guide. As a special to all our readers, we are including an outline of the guide below.

Best guidebook for exploring Havana and Cuba

Real Havana: Explore Cuba Like a Local and Save Money

Introduction

One of the most common complaints I hear from tourists who have visited Cuba is that despite the country being poor, the trip is very expensive. Most of the foreigners who remark this are people who go to Cuba intending to experience lavish parties and to live at the highest standards, with all the amenities and creature comforts they enjoy in their home country. Naturally, these luxuries do not come cheap. If you throw money around, locals will gladly accept it. That goes for any country in the world.

But one of the best things about Cuba is that you absolutely do not have to spend a lot of money in order to have a lot of fun. Local Cubans earn a monthly wage equivalent to about $30 USD, yet they find ways to party with friends, explore the island and live a happy life. As a foreigner you will not be able to perfectly replicate all facets of Cuban life, in terms of cheap living, but you can easily experience most of it.

This book will explain in detail some of the best ways to explore Cuba and the city of Havana, most of which are free or inexpensive. You will rediscover simple joys which are often overlooked in our fast paced, modern lives. You will see how and where the average Cuban citizen finds pleasure and happiness.

But this guide does much more than simply give you tips. It will also develop your understanding of the Cuban culture and way of life, allowing you to gain insight into the Cuban identity and the local mindset. This will enable you to explore the culture on a level that most foreigners never consider, and help you experience the authentic Cuba from a local perspective. Furthermore, this infrastructure of knowledge will open many doors for you to independently discover your own money saving options.

Exploring Havana and Cuba cheaply can definitely be done and you don?t have to look like a Cuban or speak fluent Spanish to accomplish it. With a reasonable degree of sensibility and cultural awareness, you can amplify your spending power on the island many times over. In a nutshell, that is what this book enables you to do. With Cuba experiencing such rapid and dramatic change, the time to visit and start your exploration is now, before it is too late.

Tips on Using This Guide

Amanda Beard nude pictures for PETA (without a Towelini)

August 22nd, 2008 · No Comments · News

Amanda Beards Poster for PETA

Amanda Beard"s Poster for PETA

At the beginning of August, American Olympic swimmer Amanda Beard decided to posed nude to help raise awareness of the cruelty inherent in the fur industry.

While the pictures are getting a lot of attention for her and for PETA they are also generating a lot of disappointment. Frankly, the pictures are not amazing, and really most of them do not show much skin at all. They are “artsy” pictures, obviously with the emphasis being on creating awareness rather than showing off he body. The pictures do not have any erotic flair to them. All in all, the pictures seem pretty amateur and unimaginative.

We at Towelini feel that it would have been much better if she just covered up her body with a Towelini. At least this would have left some mystery to her, and probably would have made her look even sexier. In photography, mystery goes a long way, and sometimes it’s not so much what you show, but rather what you don’t.

Conclusion: Beard – don’t quit your day job, and get yourself a Towelini –
